Canaveral National Seashore
The National Seashore located between New Smyrna Beach and Titusville, Florida, in Volusia and Brevard Counties . The park, located on a barrier island, was created on January 3, 1975, by an act of Congress . The seashore is known for its pristine beaches, ancient Timucua shell mounds, and diverse wildlife. It is also the longest stretch of undeveloped Atlantic coastline in Florida. The seashore provides sanctuary for thousands of species of plants and animals, including sea turtles. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities such as hiking, fishing, hunting, and birdwatching .
If you’re planning to visit the seashore, you can find more information about the location, hours, and activities on the official website of the U.S. National Park Service.
